Boone Hall Fright Nights are in full swing. This haunted attraction will feature live actors, local food vendors, and elaborate events, making it South Carolina’s most extensive multi-attraction haunted experience. It will include haunted houses, terrifying trail walks, and eerie escape rooms. Events begin right at dark on October 11,12,13,17,18,19,20,24,25,26,27. Keep in mind that these attractions are NOT for the faint of heart, promising a thrilling experience for those brave enough to enter. Children under the age of twelve are not recommended. If you want a more tame event, the Ryder Hotel will host its Spooky Island Halloween Party on Halloween night. This party will feature many events like tarot card reading, a candy apple station, and live music from DJ Jerry Feels Good. Guests are encouraged to dawn their best costumes to win the hotel’s costume contest and a free stay at the Ryder.
New Realm Brewing will also host Bark n’ Brews on October 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. Bring your pup and a costume for a paw-sitively good time. The brewery will host live music, pools for cooling off, a photo booth, and a doggy costume contest because humans shouldn’t be the only ones having fun this Halloween. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome, making this a perfect event for the whole family.
Downtown Charleston is throwing a trick-or-drink bar crawl on October 25, 26, and 31st. This event will allow you to sip on some spooky cocktails in some of the best bars in Charleson. The bars featured in this tour are John King Piano Bar, Bedford Falls, Big Gun Burger Bar, Blind Tiger Pub, Tabuli, and Toasted Crusted.
