Each February, Charleston comes alive with art, culture, and conservation during one of the city’s most anticipated annual events: Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE). Taking place February 13–15, SEWE is a must-see event for locals and visitors alike, celebrating wildlife, sporting traditions, and the great outdoors in the heart of downtown Charleston. While Sandlapper Water Tours is currently closed for the season, we love spotlighting events that showcase everything that makes Charleston such a special place to explore, and SEWE is one of the best.

What Is SEWE?
Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) is the nation’s premier celebration of wildlife art and nature-inspired experiences. Hosted across multiple venues throughout historic downtown Charleston, the event attracts thousands of attendees each year. If you’re an art collector, outdoor enthusiast, or simply looking for unique things to do in Charleston, SEWE offers something for everyone.

Looking Ahead to Spring on the Water
